Memorandum of Understanding signed with WEIDA from Malaysia

On the occasion of the Borneo International Water & Wastewater Conference 2024 (BIWWEC) at the end of October, Rädlinger Primus Line and WEIDA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). It covers cooperation on pipeline rehabilitation and construction solutions for Sarawak, a federal state in the north-west of Malaysia on the island of Borneo. This MoU is all the more important as Sarawak intends to replace all of its ageing water mains over the next five years, by 2030.

Song Chyn, Director of WEIDA Resources Sdn. Bhd., and Peter Lischewski, CEO of Rädlinger Primus Line, were joined by Sarawak’s Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Dato Sri Haji Julaihi Bin Haji Narawi.

WEIDA (M) Bhd. is a well-known, Sarawak-based company and is involved in various sectors including construction, property development and manufacturing. Its long-term presence, diversified operations, commitment to quality and sustainability contribute to its strong position in Sarawak. The MoU was signed with its subsidiary company WEIDA Resources Sdn. Bhd., which offers a wide range of infrastructure products and solutions including water and wastewater.
