With the renovation of HDPE pipes as well as PVC pipes, the standard Primus Line sizes often significantly reduce the available cross-section after renovation.
For example, an HDPE pipe DN 250 SDR 17 has an inside diameter of 220.4 mm and the Primus Liner DN 200 one of 170 mm. Hence, the cross-section is reduced. The same can be true for a PVC pipe DN 225.
That is why as of April 2020, Primus Line will have two more liners including connectors on stock in order to provide customers with a better solution.
These are the liners
- DN 150-SD with an outside diameter of 150 mm and an inside diameter of 138 mm as well as
- DN 203-SD with an outside diameter of 203 mm and an inside diameter of 191 mm.
These liners will be on stock with a medium pressure/one layer aramid reinforcement. In addition, connectors with DIN and AS flanges with PN 16 rating will be on stock just as ANSI flanges with 150 lbs.
Usually, these liners can be prepared within three weeks and are specifically suitable for plastic pipes or when a greater cross-section is needed.
