Situation
Due to the complex route of the pipeline, only a trenchless method was possible for the rehabilitation of the drinking water pipe. Traffic on the main artery was hardly affected and access via the "Escalier du Mont Agel" staircase was maintained for local residents.
A fibre optic cable for data transmission was also installed during the rehabilitation. It was inserted at the factory when the liner was folded, so that it is located in the annular space after the liner has been set up using compressed air.
