Situation
A length of 24” PCCP pipe running from a pump station under a freshly paved road, a highway overpass and a set of railroad tracks was suffering from leaking and water loss.
An additional issue when considering options for solving this issue was the high amount of traffic that ran through the area, limiting the water district’s ability to close off too many lanes of traffic.
